We own a 1999 1.6 zafira with only 30k on clock, seems to be using a lot of oil making engine sound like a diesel uses approx 1 l in 1500 miles does this sound acceptable, I have also replaced the drivers side lower suspension arm as it failed its m.o.t on the lower balljoint- is this common?
The main query is how can you reset the INSP Warning light, this lights in the tripmeter window when you first turn on yhe ignition then goes off after approx 1 min, I have tried to do it by the manual, i.e_ By holding down the trip reset button whilst turning on the ignition, all I get are some numbers appear then it reverts to its original odemeter reading,
any advice gladly recieved
thanks steve.
