There's more cash around than in a country and western hall of fame. the only way to get rid of it is to put a cap on players by way of a points system.ie, 10 points fotr a former NRL player, 7 points for a first division player, 5 points for NSW country reps, 4 for divisional reps, 3 for first graders of 5 yrs+ and 2 points for a first grader less than 5 years.Rookies score 1 point. Then give concessions for juniors straight into grade (-1point), loyalty for one club (-2points for 3 years; -3 points for 6 years+). All clubs should submit a list of top 15 at the start of the year and the points need to be under a certain limit, say 55-60 points. Changes during the year would need to be cleared in line with the points rule prior to the player being cleared by the league. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
