Date Posted: 12:12:35 09/22/02 Sun Tommy Dreamer Vs. Maven (Hardcore Championship match)-The match starts when Dreamer hits Maven with a singapore cane. Maven gets a low blow on Dreamer and gets some trash cans from the outside of the ring. Dreamer kicks maven and suplexes him on top of a trash can. Dreamer goes up the ramp and gets that chair he used earlier in the Edge & Msterio match . Dreamer runs down the ramp with chair. When Dreamer gets in the ring Maven knocks the chair out of his hands. Maven goes up top for a moonsault but Dreamer grabs the chair and hits Maven right in the head knocking Maven out in mid-air. Dreamer sets Maven up on the top rope and lays the chair on the mat. Dreamer climbs up onto the turnbuckle and scores a Dreamer DDT to Maven on top of the cair from the to rope.1-2-3 the match is over. Dreamer retains the hardcore title. After Dreamer defends his title Angle runs into the ring and gives Dreamer the Ankle Lock. Dreamer taps making Kurt Angle the new Hardcore champion.
