I am writing a screenply in which one of the main characters is disabled. I would like the script to be accurate in terms of its portrayal of the character. She drives a minivan or an SUV. First off, which is more appropriate?

Also, how should the vehicle be equipped to allow her to drive it, and also to get in and out from an electric wheelchair?

Thank you,
