Tina, of course I want both! The messages closer together and the replies on the front page, isn't that always the case! I always like the best of both worlds in everything, like who doesn't,right?
If it's not to much trouble can you put it back where I can check it out with the replies on the home page too??
I didn't realise you had set it up that way before.
Thanks, you computer wizardess
Linda

OK, I changed it back to compact format - I like it better myself. I can't really get the messages any closer together though in this format. I also changed it so the newest posts are at the top, rather than the bottom of the page. This only applies to new posts though. There doesn't seem to be an option to get replies posted as a "separate" message, you might say. Sorry!

Hey Tina, I really like it better too with the replies listed under the original messages on the home page,it's good to see it all together like that.
Also, its much better with the new posts at the top of the page than the bottom, it seems like the natural order of things, so I agree with that arrangement too.
ONe more vote for the large Cappuccino too!! It looks great, I showed my husband & he liked it too.. not that his opinion matters mind you. lol

Yes, and you know what? I actually like this better than the old board because now that I've changed it so the newest messages move to the top of the list - they bring the original message along so you don't have to hunt for it if you want to refer back to it. That way, we can delete the original text in the reply box so it's not so cluttered. In fact, there is an option I can choose to not show the previous messages within the same message box as the reply, if that makes sense What do you think about that?

Ok,let me see if I'm understanding you. The reply will always been shown on the home page, correct??
But only at the reply box it can be removed, in order to not have it cluttered up???
When replying to a previous message will that particular message always be seen above in order to refer to it, like it is now?
Tina you say the old board, do you mean the O&A board?
Yeah, I agree if that's what your talking about with the O&A board the replies could be way the heck out of range from the original message.
My main interest is having the post which is being replied to be visible in order to refer to the text if needed, does this make sense???
