Rnd 4: Join color D in any ch-2 corner sp; ch 3, in same sp work (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc): corner made; * (ch 1, sk next 3 dc, 3 dc in next ch-l sp) twice; ch 1, sk next 3 dc, in next ch-2 comer sp work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc): corner made; rep from * twice more; (ch 1, sk next 3 dc, 3 dc in next ch-l sp) twice; ch 1, sk next 3 dc; join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3; finish off.

Rep Rnd 4 for squares requiring more rnds. Each successive rnd will have one additional (ch 1, 3-dc group) between corners.
I hope this helps.

now popcorn??
When you want the popcorn to puff out on the front of the work:
To have the popcorn puff out on the front of the work: Work 5 dc in the same stitch, drop loop from hook, insert hook from front to back in the top of the first dc of group pull dropped loop through stitch.
this place has a diagram.

The best book to learn ALL that stiches is called: Encyclopdia of crochet by Donna Kooler
you can get this at www.buy.com for about $15.00
This will save alot of time and frustration.
www.about.com will be able to help just type that name of the stich in the search field.
have fun!!!
