The ultimate goal of technology in Utopia is to serve people to live a better life. BUT we don't claim that technology is the only way to live the Utopian way of life, we think technology can help people in many ways. FIrst of all, it will be the solution to keep the Utopia from outside world. And it will provide the energy we need, and help us to live in a better and safer environment.

We changed our idea about protective system a little. Since controlling ocean's current seem to take too much energy, we dropped that idea. And the idea from Government Group using nature to make us invisible seems impossible. To be able to make the light curve and see the next object instead of the island, we need huge magnetic field which is bigger than the Earth's magnetic force and it will disturb our system too. So we came up with radar system, that can sense any new object within 1000 miles. If it's a ship or a plane from outside world, an invisible dome will be created like a half sphere. It's a kind of laser that scatters light. So people from outside will see just ocean instead of the island. And they won't be able to catch us by radar too because the laser around the island disturbs the radars from outside world.(I know it's some hack of a laser!!!)

And the island can rise up when heavy rain threatens the island of being sink under the surface of the ocean. There's a pole like a screw in the center of the island which can control how far the island is from the surface of the ocean. Since this is a pretty big pole, the inside of the pole will be used as terminal for the submarine which is the only method to enter and go out of the island.

For electric power, there will be a technology system of tidal power that has the technic of dam a tidally-effected estuary or inlet, allowing the tidal flow to build up on the ocean side of the dam and then generating during the two hour high tide period. It creates the energy we need.

When a person need to go some place, he or she press the time and destination to Aquabox(it's kind of touch tone screen computer system we work on, will be explained later), A car (usually 4 to 5 people can ride on but there's bigger car too if needed)comes to the specified time and will figure out the fastest way to go there. There's certain route that the car can go. There's map for this route.

Nanotechnology will be used to make certain materials we need. It's not a magic box that creats everything. Certain materialsd which can be created by atoms will be made by Nanotechnology. So that we don't have to trade with rest of the world.

Virtaul Reality will be used as Educational tool to show the children what the rest of the world looks like.

Each building will be constructed with new material "satrlite" which does not melt even over at 1000�C and the window glasses can control the amount of preffered sunlight. And the sunlight will be used to control the temperature of heating system.

Each house has touchtone screen called Aquabox which has transportation guide, news, weather and personal notes. People can get all the information about the island and any news will be updated to Aquabox. It can also connects people when there's need to communicate with someone or everyone. The Aquabox will show the person. Usually this system locates everywhere, so you don't have to worry when you are at outside.
