Name of “Religion”:

Vigoritia – the study of Vigoris (from the latin for force, energy)

The three main tenets of our religion:

SKY which imbodies the MIND - limitless in imagination and creativity.

LAND which embodies the BODY - for we are born from and grounded to Mother Earth.

WATER which embodies the SPIRIT - our spirit wavers like the waves.

Here are some basic ideas and thoughts about this religion:

   All living creatures, animals and humans, are all born with; have an innate ability known as Vigoris. In the dystopia (or Rest Of World), evidence of Vigoris, is seen with turtles and salmon who lay their eggs on the same spot they were born from. Birds, who migrate south and never get lost and of how they nest in the same tree they were born from. Or whales, that follow a certain migratory pattern, but never seem to get lost. This “guidance system” is a very basic form of Vigoris. Schools of fish who are able to move in unisom. Examples, can be seen throughout nature that otherwise cannot be explained by science.

    In humans, evidence of Vigoris can be found in the construction of the ancient Egyptian pyramids. Or in Stonehenge, where great monuments were erected that defied the technology of that time. These ancient people are known to have the ability to control Vigoris. Thus, allowing them to construct these monuments. However, as time went by, humans started to lose this ability, becoming ever increasingly dependent on technologies and machinery. Technology is not seen as a bad thing, but rather, the improper use which lead to the pollution and destruction of the environment destroyed the balance of nature. It has long been known that Vigoris cannot be exhibited without the proper environment along with the proper balance within the person. Some animals, taken out of their environment, lose their “instinct” to survive.

    Humans have the ability to reach a high level of Vigoris, much higher than what is exhibited by animals. In Aquadiem, where the three elements, sky, land and water, are in such a perfect state of harmony that the environment is suitable for the study of Vigoritia, allowing the citizens to do, what otherwise would be considered extraordinary human feats. Inhabitants are known to have such control of their body and mind that, some are able to jump as high as thirty feet! However, that is not to say, that inhabitants are able to fly, no one can ever defy the laws of gravity or of science. But, rather they are able to get the maximum from their bodies. An inhabitant must constantly work to maintain an inner balance of Mind, Body and Spirit in order to have that control over their bodies. That is not to say that all inhabitants must do this, but if you would like to have these abilities it is recommended that inhabitants spend the time studying the three tenets.

    The environment of Aquadiem, the delicate balance of sky, land and water, was first discovered to be in perfect balance on this island where the three oceans meet. However, as the rest of the world’s technology became increasingly powerful, thus more pollutant, it was deemed necessary for the inhabitants to develop technology that would protect itself from the pollution as well as from the outside people to protect Aquadiem from corruption. Today, because the rest of the world, is so polluted and imbalanced, inhabitants of Aquadiem, even if their inner-self is balanced, the environment deems their Vigoris useless. Although, some basic skills such as finding their origin of birth (Aquadiem) can be used. Technology is also important in protecting the island from natural disasters. Inhabitants are able to “sense” when an earthquake, for example, is about to hit however, they still must rely on technology to protect the entire island.

    There are three basic areas of study. One is Land studies, or studies of the body. These are “skills” which are easy to obtain at first but, hard to master. For those who do master this skill, a sports festival is held annually, to celebrate this. Another is Sky studies, or studies of the mind. These skills are developed by the great Educational system of Aquadiem. The other is Water studies, or studies of the spirit, where morals and virtues are studied. Thus, outside religions are never looked down upon, but rather embraced for they help in developing the spirit. Thus celebrations are held for each of these three tenets. Inhabitants who master the Water studies, are often known for their leadership thus often take up higher ranking positions in the government. The inhabitants are well aware that without the environment that nature has provided them, their abilities would not exist. Although, the celebrations are celebrations of mind, body and spirit, it is also a celebration of nature itself. It is also known that the moon, which affects the environment, which affects Vigoris and thus, these festivals are held on certain phases of the moon.
