Author: Jessica [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 19:40:22 09/30/02 Mon hey, most of you guys don't know me....but in the last couple of weeks Beth and AJ have been trying to get me to write for this little magazine of yours....and the other day i finally got an idea. with the war on terrorism going on for almost a year now, and now discussion on invading Iraq, the debate of war vs. peace has been raging throughout the country (despite what CNN says). for the do-it-yourself theme that beth has been telling me about, i thought i could provide some info on what college kids could do if they are for peace, since public discussion of supporting peace has been all but ignored by both the gov't and the entire american media. i've gotten all sorts of emails from websites that will help you email your congressmen and women, sources of alternative media that give different sides to the current state of war the country's in, and even how to call the president! soo....let me know what u guys think i guess.. -Jessica Rossi p.s. when are these articles due?! anytime?
