What strategy are you thinking of?

Unless it involves the Wizard starting out bound from head to foot, what can't a high level Wizard get out of? Even bound, I'd give no better than even odds! :D

Of course, it's possible to describe a situation where the Wizard is at a disadvantage but 2 equally aware combatants is not even a contest . . . and while you *can* build a fighter specifically to kill casters, he'd likely be good at little else!
