Subject: Skills...

I am currently re-writing my character and thought I would ask a quick question. Being multi-classed, I get access to different skills. Can a psionic/chaos lord character who has gone up a level in chaos lord beef up a skill that is normally only available to the psionic part of him without it being a cross class situation?
