Wow! Some really neat stuff happened this weekend.

Zethar managed to get his girlfriend and several other slaves killed when he set the guard barracks on fire and tried to escape. After that, he was approached by a mind flayer who asked him if he wanted revenge. Zethar agreed that he did and all he had to do was garner information on the mistress of the house he was a slave to and procure a little red book from her private room. Then, the mistress would be delivered to him alive so he could get revenge. Zethar bartered for more than just that and he procured a way to release himself and one other slave from control of their slave collars. The mind flayer gave him an address in a "bad" part of town. When Zethar arrived, he was greeted by Aendryal of all people. Zethar entered and explained to her what was going on. She explained to him that the trick to defeating the collars was to keep him awake and alert, but not alive. One failed will save later and he woke up in his bed remembering only that his collar was no longer functioning and he could deactivate one more by touch.

Later on, the Ingaran gang had just arrived in Alisander and headed for the palace. Along the way Alexander realized that his two friends from the temple had been replaced by Yuan-Ti and when Alexander ordered everyone back to the temple, a Mind Flayer disguised as a Tinker showed up. Phaidon and Issic quickly took down the Mind Flayer and then Issic and Alexander destroyed the false priests. Another Yuan-Ti disguised as a drunk took off running down the alley. Phaidon pinned the poor sod to the wall with 4 arrows and a couple of panthers. They began questioning the drunk and encountered a beautiful oriental woman. After some deliberation, they were followed her to the mansion of Dr. Dalby which was now owned by Zografos. During dinner, they learned that the "I only see dead people" disease was ravaging Alisander. They began formulating a plan to get into the castle. Zografos could sneak them in, but the castle was surrounded by a Legion controlled by Ares, the God of War. Ares flags were flying invisible around Alisander as well, and Lord Nadam was feared dead.
