I tried being vague as you requested but was not very good at it. I shall endeavor to work at it so I can be more vague in the future.

Some thoughts: You will want to move on the vampire kings quickly if you allow them time to come to full power you will never fully rid the world of them. You will want to search out their weaknesses for a head on confrontation with them will be futile. They were old during the first age of man. In their slumber they have gained powers that they may not even realize yet. I doubt you will find much about them in books or written material. More than likely your best source of information on them would be the Frost Giant lich HRELGE.

Do not allow the one they call Domnhall to go to the lands of Khempt. If he is allowed to go there he will be changed into a type of vampire that will rival even the vampire kings in power.

Vampires are usually very territorial, especially when it comes to other vampires. You may be able to use that inborn trait to slow down the rise of the vampire kings and take out some rather notorious vampires of recent history.

You will want to renew your alliances with current allies and seek out new ones as well. Your enemies know your current strengths and weaknesses. You will have to change and evolve, and continue to change and evolve, to keep your enemies from having a firm plan of attack. You may have to ally yourselves with your current enemies to destroy a greater one.
