Yeah, I'm excited about the new stuff in the MM and the stuff that was presented in Savage Species. Sean K. Reynold's idea of template classes (if it was his idea) is awesome! That way the DM doesn't have to worry about an overpowered character who's now a vampire, etc. The PC can just take levels in whatever creature he's becoming. Like the 3 levels I'm spending on Xalandra becoming a half-dragon.

I'm really enthusiatic about the prestige race stuff too! Soon as my copy of Dragon 304 gets here (bought it and 306 on eBay), I'll be making up some cool prestige race stuff that you can spend all that extra XP on... :)

It's always easier to create things when you're excited about them... :)
