Subject: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BABY NURSE

I would like to highly recommend Patsy Joseph as a baby / night nurse. Patsy worked with our family and newborn daughter for four weeks as a night nurse but did also do a few 24-‐hour shifts. I wish she could have stayed for longer. (And I tried to convince her to stay longer but Patsy demonstrated her integrity and was committed to her next family.)

Patsy would arrive each evening with a smile. She would wash up and get organized for the night ahead, which included speaking to me about how the day had gone with my daughter. Patsy is courteous, clean, thorough, gentle and just generally terrific. I literally breathed a sigh of relief the moment she walked through the door. I knew our baby was in amazing hands and I could attempt to get some much-‐ needed rest.

Patsy had our daughter on a schedule almost immediately and was quickly able to extend her sleep. We have two older daughters and I did not want to nurse the baby before 7 AM once she was about 6 weeks old in order to more easily manage three small kids during the hectic mornings. Patsy’s help in getting the baby to adapt to our already busy lives was priceless.

Patsy is confident and competent but not overbearing or forceful. She offers suggestions and guidance but ultimately is aware that it is her client’s baby and her client’s decision on what to do. That said, all advice Patsy offered me was excellent and I took it.

My baby slept better when Patsy was working. She has a "magic" touch and had a special way with our baby. She was a calming and happy presence in the home, and was also sweet and helpful with my older daughters, which was extremely important.

I have met a lot of caregivers in my years as a mother, and I knew from experience that Patsy is a rare find. I believe caring for babies is her calling. I was hesitant to hire a night nurse with my third baby because of negative experiences previously. But now I just wish I had locked Patsy in for a longer amount of time! She is trustworthy, positive, and was a happy addition to our house while she was with us. Any family is lucky to have her during those challenging early days of having a newborn. If I were to become pregnant again, Patsy would be my first phone call so I could book her for three months!! Needless to say, I would hire Patsy again immediately and without reservation. She also has excellent twins/multiples and toddlers references. Her rate is negotiable.Patsy is also open to nanny/nanny share.
Do not hesitate to email me at leedsrena@yahoo.com with any questions/concerns or Patsy directly@giaroseman@gmail.com for additional information.
Rena.
