Season

Withered leaves,
fall to the ground,
stripping trees bare.
Winter snows,
come gather round,
whiteness everywhere.
Spring flowers,
their blossoms found,
in my lady�s hair.
Summer sun,
comes pouring down,
love is in the air.
Seasons change,
they rearrange,
the moods of my despair.
The calendar,
it ticks off days,
it doesn�t even care.
Year goes on,
it passes by,
the days and nights are dark.
Why should time
be measured by
the beating of my heart?
Searching for
a light to shine
and guide me on my way.
Answer lies
in my true love�s eyes,
and in living for each day.
Time has come,
and time has gone,
and time to answer all.
For if you don�t
spring to love,
you�re bound to go and fall.
