Subject: Brief reprieve from the empty nest syndrom

Mike and Amy's trip up for an all too short visit was so very much enjoyed. Seems I get to see none of you any too often. They got her last Friday and left yesterday (Tue).
We pretty much just lazed around visiting and watched videos That is after they bought me a new VCR since the one I had did not want to cooperate. Twas a nice and relaxed visit!!
Sure missed them after they left. And, Oh - yes - I got my hair cut and a permanent which feels so much better.

Early last week I received this very nice package from AZ containing two very pretty pants suits and two shirts along with 3 Mother's Day cards. Dave, Don and Noreen Thank you and each of you. Was such a nice thought, and I do appreciate your thoughtfulness. I will enjoy them.

Not much contact on the site or in person lately - I must admit that I am lacking in that area as well. Try to get things squared away and get on top of that. Hope all will do the same also. More later - love to all MOM

Mom it was good to see you and has been hard getting in to a groove since coming back. By today you should have received the 12v battery that I sent out on Saturday. Just remember to hook up as we discussed. Well it does not look as if the chance to relocate to N. Carolina will not materialize as I had hoped. But as I ponder upon the events and the opportunuities that are available to me here in Ft. Myers it is more likely than not to be the better result. Amy is not totally unhappy about the turn of events. In fact we will soon be looking at houses in the southern Lee county area. Well not to change the subject but to hurry on as there is a storm a coming (finally gettin some) Ma Amy and I have inquired but were unable to come up with the video of the Waltzing Water show but because I do read the @news-press.com I was able to hopefully locate someone that will line us up the professional video.

Mike - good to see you on the site. Yes, thanks - I did get the battery on Tuesday's delivery. Very good and I do thank you. Hope the area resolve does result in a little easier job for you to say the least - physically demanding less hopefully. I took the rest of the week off and I know what you mean about being hard to get back into the groove!! I need more of that, ha. It was a nice thought on the Waltzing Waters so maybe something will turn up on your search. Copy of yours will suffice though if not. I did enjoy your visit and thanks for the delicious grapefruit and oranges. I did get the oranges juiced and refrig. cleaned out before I started back to work - now it is back to the same ol' long days snowed under (as usual and no reason to figure it will by some chance change).

Dale, I really am looking forward to being able to be retired and nearer. About to get the appraisal squared away - just waiting the letter at this point. Something to work with in getting things under way. You know I have a way of getting on here and getting mouthy - and all the while I am doing that I have been disconnected and as a result I can not tell if my message posted or not and don't want to do it all over again - and as a result post it twice - or not at all.
