Natura non facit saltum.


None of us come natural
to love.
At least, not the kind that burdens
these veins.
'To have and to hold' manifestation
as foreign a notion as
my tongue all over you.

Yet, here we are.

in my elementary self,
faking the love
that should come natural to us all.
