Subject: the gift (dedication poem ~~ for my H.L. ~~)

This piece is dedicated to my special REAL friend, stephen hamilton nicol / highlander / chillbaby / Bono ~~
This individual has helped me out more than ~~ oh I don’t know how many times!!~~~ over the years I have known him ~
And when I say ‘I have known him’ I mean only in cyberspace ~ yes….but spiritually~~~ much deeper than meeting face to face. This man is one of the most REAL people I have ever known. He has proven this time and again. He dedicates his life to working HARD for a living and uses every spare minute of his time to helping others, and I mean all over the world. This man is amazing. (He hates praise so he is going to kill me for doing this…but it is long overdue.) he has pulled me out of many deep pits ~~ taught me to be humble, noble, patient and kind. He has calmed fears ~ days and nights. He has proven himself over and over many times that he is what he says… and says what he is. He does not beat around the bush, he has nothing to hide, he loves life and life loves him. He is the man you would WANT to run into on the streets in a dark alley late at night, for he will save you from harm. He is the man that you WANT to do business with because he is honest. He is the man you want for a friend because he is REAL and WANTS to be your friend. He is the man that you would want to find your lost child because he would take that child and love it and return it safely to you. He is the man you would want to come along when you are a woman alone and stranded in the dark because he would go out of his way to make sure you are safe for the night. I think you get the picture? Good. Here is my poem. Dedicated to none other than : Stephen Hamilton Nicol (he hates that….~~ he is so humble this is going to kill him….sorry steph…had to write what comes to me ya know!!~~~ ;))!! Truthfully ~ always

Need a hand?
He’s only got two….
But he’ll give both…every time

Patiently ~
Help you ~
And then show you how to do the same.

Down on life? Fallen?
He’ll listen
Understand
Pick you up, and then teach you how to walk again
.
Lost and alone?
He’ll step in and become the life of your world
Until he is sure you are OK.

Doubt him?
He is consistently REAL ~ you can not doubt him.

Afraid?
Talk to him. He will show you that you fear nothing but yourself.
And through the fear, he will hold your hand.

Worried? He will show you that worry is a state of mind ~~ as he eases your mind ~

Down on yourself?
He will praise your every virtue ~ turning your evil into love ~

Too good to be true?
Seems so doesn’t it?
he is REAL.
he is out here.
he is one
In a billion
THE one
Who will never leave you.

He is my friend
And yours.

He is the gift
You can’t afford ……..
