There you are!
I can see you now.
You're just standing there;
unaware
of the world around you,
not knowing
your moment has finally come.

Hunching down,
crouching myself together
so you won't see me.
Not making a move,
pretending that -
I'm not me.

While all this time
my green eyes are sticking out,
Staring at you from this corner.
Carefully watching you.
Calculating which way you're heading.
Quietly stalking you.

You are pretty contented in your own way.
Still unaware
of me.

I'm moving forward now,
quietly
not making a sound.

Inch by inch I'm moving,
I'm coming closer to you now
from behind.
I'm making a great big jump.
Whoa! My paw has landed on top of you!

Flipping you over with my paws,
throwing you up about three feet up in the air,
but you come landing on the floor with your 100 little feet,
running wildly away from me for your life.

How dare you!
Leaping forward about 5 feet up in the air
I then dive downward,
Aiming both my paws at you again.

Hah-Hah! This time I've caught you right on!
While sticking out all my claws
I can see you now,
squirming in pain,
right under my claws.

I can't hear your screams though.
I stick my claws further into your flesh.
After a few more squirms now you're still.
You have not moved for some time now,
so you must be dead.

I loosen my grip to see you.
You're running with those 100 little feet again.

How dare you!
Pretending to be dead!

How dare you!
Trying to run away from me!

Leaping up about 5 feet up in the air now
and aim-dived at you again.

Hah-Hah!! This time I have caught you real good!
I'm sticking out all my claws at you again.
Hee-hee-hee!!! Let's see if you can get away this time.

You're squirming from side to side in pain.
Your body is now almost shredding to pieces!

Oh-O! I can hear footsteps!
It's Mom Sandie coming down the stairs.

Freddy, Freddy, where are you?
Oh here you are!
Hiding from everyone.
What are you up to?

"M-e-o-w!" Look here Mom!
I've caught you a centipede.
How dare it came in through the garden?!
It should have stayed out there anyway.

*Rubbing my head against Mom's beautiful legs *
