I feel you so near,
while so far..
I wait, it seems.
Of what, do you know fear?
As will I, initially.

Do you see how inside,
I'll ever be eighteen,
spiritual and otherwise?
Quite tight and right.
Will you be the one,
seeing and feeling both,
while others rare, felt maybe half.
How little they percieve,
possibly even with these words.
Doesn't mean, I'm not willing
to do grown-up share.

How will you find me
in more than just the virtual?
When without her father
or not wheelchair bound,
nor loved by a Robert;
I feel so like Elizabeth
trapped by these present times.
Knowing, how a loving twinkle
in an eye, can fool me so.
Another thing, he of ex, took.

If me, you find, will you forgive,
when it takes a long while
for my trust complete?
Or that, I'm not in that place
where long ago, I meant to be.
Could you be back south,
visulizing that one magical kiss
we shared at last summer's N.Y. faire.
for which, I cannot let myself
Georgia pine, Alabama or not.

Maybe you were just a tease,
from the gods of the forest,
as between the leafs, you peered.
You, a lone wolf in human robes,
outside the pack, with hair of black.
I can still see your eyes of blue,
those ending two summer days.
Only seemed to notice me, somewhat.
until that last intrigue of a moment.
Are we both too hurt,
mayhaps a Pandora box?
If nothing else,
there was this.
Will I ever know,
will you?
