Do and See


Fear, sometimes too great
that I'll never be able
to be all I'm meant to be,
try, try as I do and see.

It verily quivers me all up
while alone shivering.
Trying to second guess myself,
I don't want to be somebody's pelt.

Yet it seems that since I do it alone
there is no end to the laughter zone.
I take on the poetic world
with no formal training to unfurl.

A computer with a mind of its own
my mistakes it so overblows.
Then too, there are the other things
that keep giving me zings and pings.

Also fear of will never get the credit
for many ideas of my debit.
But that I'm almost used to,
almost can shrug my shoulders and say phoo.

Others as well, I loathe seeing in same
position of not even getting fifteen minutes fame.
So I fear this world is not letting itself be aware
to which I can only say, do take care.
