The knight


I ride into the mix
Listing to the kick

As the music flows across the floor
People notice as I walk through the door

I wear a fashionable heart
Cutting the world apart

Looking for an angle
When all I find is danger

Tortured hearts dance all around
As the let go to the sound

Each lady I pull from the fire
Has a story crushed from desire

Tortured by the hand of a lover
Never to be loved by another

Each one dances like an (angel on fire)
Not knowing how to let go of the liar

Spinning through the night
Getting away form the fight

The night in shinning armor
Began no more than a simple farmer

Now lost in the city lights
Caught in these women’s plights

Always putting up a fight
For what he feels is right

Then after the passionate nights
The ladies always go back to the fights

As the knight holds onto the heartfelt baggage
The ladies go back to the savage

To scared of a new life
Always running back to the strife
