AWOKEN FEARS

Am quite heartsick,
Wondering what makes other people tick.
Seeing fuss about the Orient House
Which is nothing, compared to the thick
Of it, as horrid suicide killings or maimed.
About that, Palestinians are quieter than a mouse.

Yes, of course they have valid points to make
But ramming them down World's throat
The by choice, self bombs,
Makes me wonder for whose, very unholy sake
Lives are destroyed, distorted belief in Islam's psalms.
Although, is this not about wanting land?
Religion being used as holy terror and disguise?

Could not Israel share the land while
Treating everyone as first-class citizens?
Would that be a remedy shared by all denizens
Or will bitter memories have hearts frozen
In the heat of hate, melting sand into yellow bile?

How can people speak to each other
When thinking, only the other side is wrong.
In the long tin soldier's run,
Will they all fall on the ground, one after another?
What will be results of this religious song prolonged?
Should we, just give up thinking and believing?

Some circles are cycles of waste, until soul cleaned,
As this, a much hotter version of England and Ireland
Bloody waste of hopes and tears.
What is the difference between Jerusalem and Dublin?
Either city .. awakes my worst fears!

What say you and "...et tu..."?
