A Writers Dream


Gazing deeply at an empty page
Beyond the glare of the winter white canvas
A watered down image of a scene begins to appear
And with a stroke of ones pen a deluge of incarcerated expressions are released
One after another the words become color and the page though filled with words alone
Becomes vibrant and bright as if a rainbow reflected from a window and thus
Thought becomes image… image becomes person, place, or thing and all can then appreciate the gift… the gift that creates any-place, any-love, any-life for anyone.
And so it is a writer’s dream
