Subject: Upon Meeting a Ghost in Little Five Points

Hi guys! I'm baaackk...new poetry exercise and form of the month on The Fatted Calf (www.voy.com/11355)...Hope you all enjoy the poem!

Here in this city, this sprawling massed stone
I look for ghosts
In the faces of fellow passengers
Hearing your song
In Little Five Points facades wet with rain
Feeling you in botegas and restaurants
Seeing spectrums
Of your spirit
Where you still pulse, my sun, burning.

The center core of my universes
In black allies
Your ultraviolet light rays pervading
Spreading, feeding
Chloryphic warmth reaching my deep rivers
My tear sodden banks flooded with life's joy
Fertile, sprouting
Seedlings grow
In this lost dark place, you bless me.

You pass through me, wind, in Sevananda
Breath on my neck
Your soul entwisted, entwined with my own
Sweet orgasm
Your hands raising tides, storms, miracles
I hold you with etheric astral arms
But you slip, gone
From my embrace
You whisper to me, come away.
