The art of crying



Probably safe to say most of us do
shed an occasional tear, often alone
at what can be a vulnerable time
when our guard is not all it could be.

I know I do, and couldn’t care less
if some individuals think that weak
because I feel very lucky to have all
that range of emotion to experience.

Do you ever think to yourself really
at that point where all you can see
is all that there is without the glitz
when your daily hit, worn off is gone.

Perhaps it is frightening to exhibit
and maybe, there are some aspects
that come to light with sharp edges
pricking bright holes into your view.

The sensation as eyes feel saddened
tear-ducts express emotional release
just for a short time an opening shows
sharing that moment, adds more tears.
