WORKING FOR A LIVING

Within old work pattern
resentment grows;
takes the place of devotion
and the meaning of work becomes lost
between pay cheques.
Pressure from stress and worry
unfocus the task at hand:
every skill and idea now carry a price;
a heavy burden to carry day to day;
the job reeks of stale air;
work becomes a storage place
for dead dreams and worn out thoughts
irrelevant to these changing times.

moving beyond the "carrot on a stick"

provides life to dreams;
gives light to new visions.
