Light flooding faces
young and old, proud
at the fire, wary of
the burning side of
the flames--

Decry us as we cry,
tears are our sorrow
that is ancient and
everlasting--

Destroy madness that
never was seen in our
eyes, and pluck theirs
from their sockets for
seeing the nonexistent--

Let our kisses be bitter
sorrow, the parting of us,
so sweet and painful--

Let our kisses be lingering,
like us, through the ages,
and send us around the mutual
fire where wariness is present
for the burning side of the flames
