**NOT A RELIGIOUS POEM**


my bones surround the shore
of the sea;
blood drips from wounded clouds,
this cruel sun blisters my eyes
as i hang here from this cross;
my chaos, its apocolyptic self,
cradles my heart with a warm hand.
my angels, slaughtered, lay at my feet.
a bolt of lightning, stole from the sky
strikes upon my face and splits
my lips into a delicious smile.
