Love is a meadow in the heart where endless springtime reigns
Flighty songs of pleasures gained and no unpleasant stains
But summers heat burns deep inside with jealousy and lust
The passion rising, fading, falls to thinly-veiled mistrust
As frozen eyes tell winters' tales to icy souls betrayed
The springtime beckons once again and hardened heads are swayed
So if it seems that you are wrong for saying how you feel,
