an apparition conflicted in shadow
and light,
i fall through layers of
chaos to land here,
in the belly of the beast,
conflicted with me are the last of the
desires, companion to my demons, we play in a room
with tortured angels and forgotten blessings.
mere echoes of myself reach for
me through the cold stone walls, here in the darkness, and
i breathe in the heady aroma of my demise.
