You don’t see me
You don’t see at all
As I lay here
Curled up in my ball

Hide my fears
Kill the demons
What’s their purpose
What’s their meaning

Taking my life
Taking my mind
Leaving nothing
For you to find

They claw and they torture
They torment and persecute
Stabbing and maiming ~
Just when will they be through?

I’m already half gone
Oh now please just be done
You’re many ~ I’m but one
I’m drowning as I run

No you don’t see me now ~
As I stumble and fall
They latch on once again ~
I’m curled up in my ball

I’m curled up for protection?
I’m in my private section
Stay away ~ no correction
Don’t help me ~ it’s my lesson

Slap me into danger zone
Try to survive on my own
Search for you but I’m alone
I live a life of the unknown

Life, come on and kick me again
Remind me of how death begins
Remove this life ~ is that a sin?
Probably not ‘cause I can’t win

Darkness clouds me and comes to call
Tells me to drop and make my fall
Scared and cold ~ yes I take it all
All tightly curled up in my ball
