Hi Raphaela, long time? I have been sooo busy. Hey I had to read this over before comment, I hope the poem wasn´t you??? I hope it was some spliff thang! Ironically I too was at a reading/sing song...I too was on top of a purple cushion and I was in Turkey ´88 (Bodrum)...OK I´m floating away from the subject here. I found to my astonishment that a very large proportion of poets are actually f..... I don´t mean that in a bad way but the more I meet the more I believe that they have had a raw deal somehow!OK maybe this is what inspires them to come out in the open and write about their experiences but ...well I end up singing acapella (or acapulco...after 6 beers) I generally write about how I feel about the World and sometimes I am guilty about Political statements when I know nothing about Politics, and in anycase I don´t hate my ex´s...I love them all for setting me FREE!!! So going back to your poem..I loved that smokey effect you created and I could see those poets standing there, bandana on head, flaired 70´s style jeans and a read!But please tell me the pilss and all is not you, if it is you then contact me...I´m good at these things.
