Angel - I just loved this - so sensuous and seductively draws the reader in.

Reminds me of a poem I wrote in the Spring - so just for you:

MASSAGE ME

As I lie here and contemplate
whether or not to write again
why don’t you come on over
and keep me company one
more time.

Lying on my tummy
twigs scratching against the window
begging for an invite to my
inner domain.

I watch and smile through lazy eyes
and think what I should do.
No desire to work again but
would rather spend my time with you.

Help me to relax and ease the
tension from my tired and aching soul.
Massage me with your words
so very tenderly.

Mmmmm, now I feel your touch
caressing those tiny toes.
Be careful that tongue doesn’t
just flick that little ring off there.

Ohhhh it goes on up my calves
begin to help me to unwind but
what is that? Behind my knee
is ticklish now I find!

So silently you proceed and
continue with your exploration.
Those thighs have not felt
such sensitive stimulation.

Ahhh the towel slips off
as your words continue with
their rhyme. Onwards and upwards
you boldly venture.

Now my back so sensitive to
every tender touch. Putty in your
hands I’ll be if you continue just
like that! Ahhh my shoulders now
unknot, wonderful you are my love.

The trees withdraw, their curiosity
well and truly now dumfounded.
Continue there, just like that, and
I will be forever thine.

My eyes are closed, my smile is wide
I listen to you attentively.
Please continue, I beg of you,
just massage me with your words.

What is that you say my love?
As your finger strokes my back.
Responding instantly to your
every wondrous sound.

Quietly now you speak,
your words so difficult to hear.
I turn over oh so slowly
and smile at you sitting there.

I hold your hand as you read
to me, your poetry words of honey.
I look at you with eyes of love
massage me with your words
- just one more time!
