Wow!! I was just listening to some old school CMB ("thinkin' back") and I guess I am a little nostalgic (sp?)right now. It saddens me that CMB has stopped making music, although I wish them the best of luck in whatever they may do independently or otherwise. Their songs bring back fond memories for me and each album was released during different stages of my life...hence the nostalgia.

When I hear the CMB album I associate it with the year it was released when I was 9 1/2. I think of Paula Abdul, Boys II Men, "In Living Color" and 90210.
Time and Chance makes me think of middle school and how everyone was listening to alternative and grunge. I would have never made it thru that dreadful "garage band" music era w/o CMB. T&C also reminds of "THE REAL WORLD 3" w. Puck and Pedro b.c. in one episode they play "CHOOSE".
Now and Forever reminds me of being 14, summer before highschool started...the excitement of new things to come...and the year (1996) when I met CMB, went backstage and got to watch the concert from the front row thanks to Bryan!
Awakening reminds me of highschool, driver's liscense, first car, first kiss, first boyfriend (still w. him lucky me!)and straight up fun. THE BEST OF CMB reminds me of highschool graduation, party party party, friends friends friends...and ofcourse driving around and jamming out to CMB (thank you Mercedes-Benz for that CD changer!!!lol) So I have shared my memories and I would love to hear all of your's!!
