The filly's last kick hits him right in the kisser. He grunts and stumbles backwards, bleeding from the lip. That was before the angry looking mare stepped in. His black mug snaps in her direction, stormy gray eyes are filled with puzzlement yet also with rebellious desire. However, soon afterwards, some type of primeval instinct clicks in his mind, and the young colt instantly diverts his pewter pools downwards. The ebonite utters not a word as he begins to edge farther and farther away, wishing to escape this place but not to turn his unprotected back to the others.

…|maybe fighting was not allowed here, but how would she have known? sullenly averting her eyes to the cold, boring soil beneath her hooves, the filly almost feels like boring a hole and then crawling in it to think and muse over what had just happened. certainly mother didn't disapprove, did she? that would be devastating considering that the little one had no means by which to retaliate without violence for being wronged by that snooty colt. tail, that's growing longer every day, whips her hindquarters, the hairs stinging on the thin hide. but hey, what did she care? it wasn't like she could tail-slap herself to death. emitting an unhappy snort, the milky white foal begins journeying off towards the foal tt. she needed to get away from this mess, learn to speak, and only then would she return|…
