's message, "Of all her conflicting emotions, anger was the one with which Brushy was most comfortable, so she brandished it like a dagger and flew to her feet." on 13:47:15 11/27/02 Wed
He flies back from her, her words very slowly sinking in. A baby? But.. but.. he pleaded with himself, then shook his head. He watched her, and suddenly felt very guilty and incredibly protective over her. Rather than approach her and cause her to jerk around to much, he lowered his head guiltily. He didn't know what to say.

She was shaking with rage, but luckily, words had yet to flee her mind. -- Brush Fire, 13:55:12 11/27/02 Wed
"I won't have it, Jesar! I wont." Logic failed her, obviously, after all, how could a mare just not have her foal? Her eyes were sharp and flashing, though with her back turned she knew that the stallion couldn't see them. However, her fury was becoming to the small mare, the sunlight making darting patterns across her coat, pulled taught by tense muscles.

Too late for that. -- Jesar, 14:00:59 11/27/02 Wed
He gulped and pushed aside his crazy attraction towards her to make room for sense, which he needed right now. He approached her side, head still low. "But... But Brushy it's a little too late for that... It might not be..." All that bad." he finished in his mind. She would hate him. Loathe him! She would never talk to him again. It finally dawned on him that she was holding a living thing inside her, and it was part of him. It was part of each of them.
He made a face as he remembered his father. He was worse than the icey stallion! He had foolled Brushy and now she had a foal she didn't want, much like his own mother. But he couldn't leave, he wouldn't leave her. Eventually her anger would subside. It would have to.

She took a deep breath and stilled herself. -- Brush Fire, 07:20:42 11/28/02 Thu
"I. Don't. Care." She whispered fiercely, sounding for all the world like a child determined to have her way. Misreading the disgusted expression on his face caused her to shoot out accusingly, "See! You don't want it either! I won't have this foal."

But- -- Jesar, 08:18:56 11/28/02 Thu
"But I do want him...!" He whispered quickly. What was he saying?? He wasn't ready to be a parent. But he wanted this foal now. He shook his head. "Brushy this is all my fault. I'm worse than my father. I understand if you don't want to speak to me any more. This is all my fault. I'm so sorry."

She wasn't exactly sure as to whom she was furious at, but Jesar presented himself as a candidate so she flew at him. -- Brush Fire, 12:51:34 11/28/02 Thu
"I can't see you right now," she hissed and stalked away.

[ Dunno what to say... ] -- Jesar, 21:06:58 11/28/02 Thu
Her words stung him angrily, and he said nothing. He didn't go after her. He only stood there, his expression unreadable. He was suddenly angry too, angrier than before. This wasn't all his fault! It was hers too! And she had no right to fly off the handle at him like this.
