Glaring at Daigal in mock disgust, she smiles a little. He hadn't changed a bit. "Oooh Daigal, you scared me. What have you been up to anyway? Are you going to the ball?" She peppered him with questions, though her eyes watched Polar stalk away.

He grins at her. "I don't know. I might. Are you? Where have you been? You can tell what I've been up to - I wanted to find someplace other than Onyx Pass to live." Watching her gaze, he follows it. "Polar greeted me also when I came. Devil's Mountain has much better activity than Onyx Pass - and no one has yet called me Bambi." He flicked his dark tail idly, looking quickly back at his childhood friend, summing all of his questions into one important one. "How have you been?"

She giggles as he reminds her of his unfortunate nickname. "I've been good, here and there. I tried going to another territory, but I didn't really fit in well, so I came here after I heard you were here. I missed you, Bambi," She says with a coy smile, looking towards the party. "I think I'll go," She says, in referance to it, with a shrug. "I dunno."

He chuckles. "So you're the first to call me that cursed name..." More seriously he smiles slowly at her, his long-lashed eyes sweetly honest. "I missed you also, Sophie. Would you like to go to the dance with me? It feels like it's been the longest time since the last time."

About to turn and lead the way... he pauses, his gaze sharp, but joking. "Call me Bambi again and I'll have to tickle you when we get there and embarrass you profusely. Coming?" Grinning, the stallion turns and leads at a canter.
