Hello Victoria,

I'm afraid that slow progress is the name of the game whilst beginning on this complex instrument. However, Rome wasn't built in a day, and the results of all the hard work and effort required are definitely worthwhile.

I do recommend contact with other pipers..especially in the early stages. Would you be able to travel to a SWAUP Saturday meeting? The dates for 2005 have now been updated on the SWAUP webpage. You'd be made very welcome and be able to ask questions and receive advice.

All the best,

Steve Turner
