Author: Travis Smith
Subject: CWF World Title Web of Pain match from Rock Bottom (12-25-02)

As soon as Jeckel climbs into the cage, he's met with a knee lift to the gut from Travis Smith. Travis yells some trash talk at him before slamming him head first into the platform lining the side of the cage. Meanwhile, Darrin Chaos rushes at Zeitgeist and clamps on a side head lock, only to get back suplexed to the unforgiving steel floor. Mike Manson and JYD are adding a new chapter to their rivalry as they go toe to toe, exchanging rights and lefts. The referee takes the sledge hammer brought into the cage by Mike Manson, and drops it down one of the legs. He obviously thinks that this match is dangerous enough without the use of a sledge hammer.
Monroe: Here we go folks! This epic match has begun. The rules are simple. You can be eliminated at any time via pinfall or submission. If you're eliminated, your night is over. As you can see, there's the CWF World Title belt hanging from the top of the cage, and a 20 foot ladder on brackets along the side of the cage. The first person to climb that ladder and get the belt, is the winner. If the match gets down to two men left, and one of those men submits or gets pinned, then the other will have 30 seconds to climb the ladder and get the belt. If he is unable to do that in those 30 seconds, the man who was beaten will be able to get another shot in the match. So basically there will always be at least two guys in the match at all times. The really dangerous part comes 10 minutes into the match. That is when the system that operates the trap doors in the cage floor will be activated. From then on, at random intervals, the trap doors will open, and anyone unfortunate enough to be standing on one of them, will fall 10 feet into a web of razor sharp barb wire. If they fall through the first web, there's a second, and then a third, and finally the ring. If you fall, you're not eliminated, you just have to climb back up into the cage and continue the fight...although I imagine a fall into barb wire like that would take away a lot of your will to go on.

Travis is choking Jeckel out on top of the platform, before whipping him hard into the side of the cage. Travis takes a running start and leaps into the air, only to have Jeckel side step and slam him into the cage as well. Jeckel turns and dives off the platform into Manson and JYD, and all three men go down in a heap. Meanwhile, Zeitgeist hits a corkscrew leg drop on Darrin, and goes for the cover. 1...2...Travis Smith comes off the platform with a flying elbow drop to break up the pinfall attempt. He and Darrin pull Zeitgeist to his feet and bring him hard onto the steel floor with a double suplex. Just a few feet away, JYD holds Mike Manson while Jeckel pummels him right rights and lefts. Jeckel winds up with a killer right hand and lets it fly, just as Manson ducks. The shot connects squarely with JYD, sending him stumbling backwards. He hits the side of the platform, then comes rushing back and blasts Jeckel with a clothesline. Manson surprises JYD with a roll up from behind...1...2...JYD kicks out. Darrin and Travis have abandoned the double team, and Travis has Darrin locked in a sleeper hold. Darrin breaks it with a couple of elbows to the gut, then spins and nails Travis with a round house kick to the head. He cinches Travis up for a T-Bone suplex, but is jumped from behind by Zeitgeist, who takes him down with a devastating back breaker. Travis moves to Manson, who is more than willing for a fight, and the two exchange right hands. Travis swings wildly and misses, then gets driven to the steel with a spine buster courtesy of the CWF champion. Manson with a cover. 1...2...JYD yanks him off of Travis, and goes for the cover himself. 1...2...Manson returns the favor. The two stand arguing for a moment, before Jeckel shoves both men from behind, right into a drop kick by Zeitgeist. Zeitgeist nails Jeckel with a forearm shot, then sits on the platform while holding Jeckel in a front face lock. Zeitgeist throws his weight forward, spinning around, looking for a Tornado DDT, only to have Jeckel counter it with a Northern Lights suplex with pinning bridge. 1...2...JYD breaks up the cover, only to get caught from behind with a Tiger Suplex by Travis Smith...Smith bridges into a cover. 1...2...Manson breaks it up. Manson stomps away at Travis Smith, then turns around, only to walk right into a shot with the ladder by Darrin Chaos.

Monroe: Uh oh, the ladder has come in to play. This match has been absolute chaos so far...no pun intended.

Darrin goes to work with the ladder, slamming Manson again for good measure, then whirling and smashing it into JYD's ribs as he gets to his feet. He holds the ladder across his body, then runs right into Zeitgeist and Jeckel, knocking them both to the ground. Darrin Chaos is the only one on his feet, and he looks to take advantage of it as he sets the ladder under the title belt, and begins to climb.

Monroe: Will Darrin Chaos make it up the ladder to become the youngest CWF champion ever?!

Not quite yet Monroe, as Darrin is yanked to the ground by Travis Smith. Then the other 4 men swarm around, and begin stomping the life out of the youngster.

Monroe: It's a 5 on 1 beat down!

Henley: Rodney King! Rodney King!

Darrin is hauled to his feet by Mike Manson. Manson nails him with a boot to the gut. JYD nails him with a spinning neck breaker, followed by an elbow drop from Travis Smith, and a leg drop by Jeckel, capped off with a corkscrew frog splash by Zeitgeist The Perpetual. Darrin Chaos is out of it. But before anyone can capitalize, the team work breaks down. Zeitgeist is nailed in the back of the head with a scissors kick by Jeckel as he tries to get up, Jeckel gets hit with a two handed face buster, driving him into the steel, by Travis Smith. Manson hits Travis with a chop block, only to get taken down from behind with a release German Suplex by JYD. JYD gets to his feet, hearing the cheers from the crowd below, as he moves over to the champion and pulls him up by his hair. JYD rocks Manson back with some hard right hands, then lifts him onto the platform. JYD climbs up with him, then sets him up for a powerbomb.

Monroe: That platform is just a shade under the height of the top rope in a normal sized ring, and the floor is solid steel...if JYD hits this with the kind of power a man of his size is capable of, Mike Manson could end up crippled.

Henley: At least then his body would match his mind.

JYD lifts Manson into the air, but Manson counters with some stiff punches to JYD's face, and slips out of his grip, landing on his feet. But JYD shoves Manson off the platform, right onto the waiting shoulders of Jeckel. JYD leaps, and he and Jeckel take the champion down with a modified Doomsday Device, Manson hitting the steel hard. JYD goes to get to his feet, but he's caught by Travis Smith, who takes him face first into the steel with a Fameasser. Darrin is just now trying to push himself up after that 5 on 1 attack. Meanwhile, Zeitgeist has begun to climb the ladder, trying to capitalize on everyone's distraction. He's about half way there when Jeckel notices him, and drop kicks the ladder. The ladder teeters precariously...then begins to fall as Zeitgeist can do nothing but hang on. The ladder crashes down across Darrin's back as he tries to get up, and Zeitgeist hits the steel as well. Travis attacks Jeckel from behind with a clubbing blow to the head, then tears off his mask, and uses it to choke Jeckel.

Monroe: The Jeckel mask has been removed! And Travis is choking Drew Carrig out with it!

Travis uses his grip on the mask to bring Drew down across his knee with an Inverted DDT neckbreaker. Travis with the cover...1...2...Drew kicks out.

All of the sudden a loud buzzer sounds, echoing throughout the Canyon.

Monroe: We've hit the 10 minute mark! From now on, the trap doors can open at any time, and in any pattern. Someone could fall into the barb wire web any moment now!

From their various spots inside the cage, the six men fighting their hearts out look around nervously at the floor, as if expecting a door to open right under them. Travis pulls Carrig to his feet, then grabs Mike Manson by the hair, and slams the two men into one another. Travis turns, looking to go for the ladder, only to get blasted with a big boot by JYD. Zeitgeist leaps on JYD's back, clamping on a sleeper hold, and quickly taking him down to one knee. Zeitgeist let's go of the hold, backs up a bit to get a running start, then nails JYD with a drop kick to the back of the head. Travis slowly gets back to his feet, then picks up the ladder. He turns, and sees both Carrig and Manson getting to their feet. He runs forward, but all of the sudden, the panel under his feet gives way and he falls through the hole, as the audience below lets out a collective gasp.

Monroe: Look at that! Travis Smith fell through a trap door, but the ladder is so long, it stretches across that particular panel! Travis Smith is dangling from the bottom of the cage, hanging on to that ladder for dear life!!

Travis swings his legs, up, hooking them around a rung of the ladder, as the trap door comes from underneath him, resetting itself and returning him safely inside the structure. But his moment of relief is short lived as Darrin Chaos hits a Rolling Thunder on the ladder, crushing him beneath it.

Monroe: An unbelievably close call for Travis Smith, but Darrin Chaos made the close call bitter sweet with that Rolling Thunder.

Henley: I don't know...which would you rather have...have 200 pounds land on a ladder that you're pinned under, or fall 10 feet into a web of razor sharp barb wire?

Monroe: Good point.

Darrin gets to his feet, clutching his lower back, only to get propelled back onto the ladder by a double super kick courtesy of Drew Carrig and Mike Manson. JYD comes off of the platform with a huge splash on top of Darrin, crushing Travis Smith beneath the ladder as well. But JYD is caught from behind with a double team back suplex by Carrig and Manson. Both men get back to their feet, and immediately tear into each other. Carrig blocks a right hand and responds with a boot to the gut. He tries a spinning neck breaker, but Manson throws his weight forward at the last second, taking Drew over with a Judo like through. Manson turns and grabs the ladder, yanking it out from under Darrin, then slams it with all his strength into the back of Drew's knee. He whirls and slams the ladder into the side of JYD's knee as well, dropping the big man back to the ground.

Monroe: Good strategy by the champion...he's going for everyone's legs. If you can't use your legs, it's hard to climb a 20 foot ladder.

Henley: Even IF Mike Manson retains the title here tonight, do you really think that President Stevens is going to let him keep it for very long after what he did to him?

Monroe: Mike Manson doesn't have a perfect record, but when the belt is on the line, he always seems to find a way to escape with gold in tact. He has a resourcefulness that few champions ever have.

Henley: He's the luckiest son of a bitch in the world, plain and simple.

Zeitgeist pulls Darrin to his feet, then picks him up, looking for a brain buster, but Darrin flips over, and then drop kicks Zeitgeist in the same knee he worked over during the match. Zeitgeist clutches his knee, writhing in pain. Darrin grabs the leg and stomps the injured joint a few times, before locking in a figure four. Zeitgeist screams in pain as Darrin applies the pressure. There is no rope breaks...the only way out of a submission hold is to reverse it, or tap out. Mike Manson sets up the ladder under the title belt, his title belt, and begins to climb. Darrin sees this and releases the hold, and begins to climb the other side. Darrin quickly catches up to Manson, and reaches through the rungs. He grabs Manson and yanks him face first into the ladder. Travis climbs up behind Mike, and slams him head first into the ladder. All of the sudden, the trap door under the ladder gives way and all three men, along with the ladder plummet through the air, into the barb wire. When the ladder hits, all three men are jarred loose, each falling hard into the strands of barb wire, which sag under the weight, but do not break. The ladder teeters up right for a moment, before falling over sideways, landing on top of Mike Manson and Travis Smith.

Monroe: And the web of pain takes its first casualties! It looks like a train wreck! All three men are busted open, Travis and Manson were lucky, if you can call it that, to land on their backs, and only have some minor cuts, but Darrin Chaos landed head first, and from our vantage point, appears to be bleeding like a stuck pig! Zeitgeist, Drew Carrig, and JYD are all still in the structre. They need to use this time to go for that belt!

Henley: And just how do you propse they do that with no ladder? Form a human totem pole?

Monroe: Oh my God, you're right! I didn't even think of that. One of them is going to have to go down to the first web and pull the ladder back up, or wait until one of the three men still in the web recovers and brings it up with them.

Inside the cage, Zeitgeist has made it to his feet and limps over to Drew Carrig. He pulls Drew up, and goes for a suplex, which is blocks. Carrig lifts him up for a suplex of his own, only to get speared nearly out of his boots by JYD. Zeitgeist rolls with the impact, and gets back to his feet. He comes back at JYD, knocking him off his feet with a spinning heel kick.

Monroe: What in the world is keeping Zeitgeist The Perpetual and JYD going? Both of them were in hellacious matches earlier tonight, and yet they still manage to come back time and time again with tremendous moves. I'm not trying to take anything away from Drew Carrig, but he came into this match at 100%. That's a definite advantage over the two men he's up their in the cage with.

Down below, Travis Smith has managed to roll off the barb wire to the wooden cat walk. He's on his stomach, in obvious pain, as blood oozes from several zig zagged cuts in the flesh of his back. Out on the barb wire web, Manson has wisely moved the ladder underneath him, laying on top of it to avoid any more exposure to the razor wire. Darrin is still bleeding profusely, and hasn't moved all too much since his fall. In the cage, Zeitgeist nails JYD with a leg drop and goes for the cover. 1...2...JYD gets the shoulder up. Zeitgeist pulls JYD up to his feet, then leaps to his shoulder for a hurancanrana, but JYD tosses Zeitgeist up and back over his head to counter. Zeitgeist looks to try to land on the platform, but falls just short, striking his knees into the corner, and dropping to the ground in a great deal of pain. Down below, Manson has made it to the catwalk as well, and pulls Travis Smith to his feet. He points to the edge of the catwalk, while holding Travis by the hair. The crowd below erupts in cheers.

Monroe: Oh my God, don't do it! There's no protection! If he throws him off the catwalk, there's nothing to stop Travis Smith from plummeting 30 feet to the ground below! For God's sake don't do it!

Manson runs Travis towards the edge of the cat walk, but Travis puts on the break and counters with a back elbow to the gut. He slams Mike's head into the leg of the spider, then knocks him back onto the barb wire with a thrust kick. Travis turns and looks to get on the ladder leading up to the cage, only to get caught from behind by Darrin Chaos. Darrin's face is a crimson mask, but he still manages to take Travis down with a German Suplex on the wooden cat walk. Darrin turns and heads up the ladder, looking to get back into the match. JYD is pounding away at Drew with rights and lefts, followed by some stiff knife edge chops. JYD whips Drew one way, only to pull him back close and send him to the ground with a belly to belly suplex. Drew hits the steel and skids along the ground. Suddenly, a trap door opens right in front of him. Drew drags his arms and feet trying to stop his slide, and ends up stopping just before the hole in the ground. Drew holds his breath, letting it out only when the trap door resets. Darrin has made it back into the cage, and makes a bee line right for Zeitgeist. He pulls his tag team partner to his feet, rocking his head back with some fore arm shots. Then Darrin takes to the air, driving Zeitgeist down with a jump swinging DDT. He has ample time to go for the cover, but pulls Zeitgeist up for more punishment. He grabs Zeitgeist's arm, and clamps on a wrist lock, then takes him over with a release suplex. Darrin turns and is turned inside out via a JYD clothesline. But JYD turns and gets taken down with a Side Russian leg sweep courtesy of Drew Carrig. Carrig climbs to the platform, then leaps off, connecting with a picture perfect swanton bomb. He makes the cover. 1...2...Darrin with the diving save. Both Darrin and Carrig make to their feet, and Darrin attacks first, nailing a stiff kick to Carrig's midsection on the left side, then the right...then a high kick to the head, then one to the knee...and he caps it all off with a lightning fast jump spin kick to the jaw, knocking Carrig down to the ground. Back on the catwalk, Travis Smith has recovered, and pulls the ladder off of the web. He hooks it on his arm, then begins to climb one of the legs. Mike Manson rolls painfully off the web, and forces himself to his feet, and begins his climb up a different leg. Chaos has turned his attention back to Zeitgeist, and slams his head repeatedly into the platform. He lifts Zeitgeist up into a sitting position on the platform, then rips him back down with a dragon screw leg whip, continuing the assault on Zeitgeist's knees. Travis has made it back into the cage, sliding the ladder along the floor. JYD comes out of no where, nailing a baseball slide to the top of the ladder, driving it back into Travis' face, busting him wide open. Somehow Travis maintains his grip on the ladder leading into the cage, and pushes himself into the cage to avoid falling down through the leg. JYD pulls him to his feet, then lifts him into the air, driving him down hard with a spiral powerbomb right on top of the ladder. In the middle of the structure, a trap door opens harmlessly, resetting itself without incident. He gets to his feet, looking to inflict more damager, but gets caught from behind with a hangman's neckbreaker by Mike Manson. Manson picks up the ladder, only to turn and get it drop kicked into his ribs by Drew.

Monroe: That had to have hurt! Remember the gore through the table by Meyer Dillinger. Injured ribs seriously hinder your ability to breathe, and in a match like this where everyone is sucking wind right now, I don't like Manson's chances.

Carrig takes the ladder himself, and slams it brutally into Manson's mid section, furthering the rib damage, before turning, and setting the ladder up under the title belt. But he gets caught with a drop kick before he can even start to climb by Darrin Chaos. Darrin is the one who begins to climb up towards the championship belt, only to get yanked back down by JYD. JYD lifts Darrin up and powerslams him to the ground. A bloody Travis Smith grabs JYD from behind, but JYD nails him with a low blow, then hip tosses him over right onto Darrin. JYD steps on Travis and Darrin, and uses them as a stepping stone to begin a climb up the ladder. Rung by rung he gets closer to the title as the crowd below gets louder and louder. He's 3/4 of the way up, when Carrig shakes the ladder from below. JYD stays on the ladder, but can't climb any further. He turns and leaps into the air, going for an elbow drop. Carrig moves out of the way, just as a panel of the floor opens. JYD sails through the air, off the ladder, and through the trap door, falling faster and faster until his descent is stopped abruptly by hundreds of steel barbs tearing into his flesh. JYD hits the web and bounces a bit, before coming to a rest.

Monroe: Did you see that?!? JYD jumped off the ladder looking for Drew Carrig, only to find the web of pain! Look at that barb wire sag now. I think it's only a matter of time before the first web breaks. And that can only spell trouble for these six athletes.

Henley: I hope no one wins and President Stevens declares himself the champion.

Monroe: If that happens, I'm going to get a job in NWA:TNA.

Henley: Is that all it's going to take to get rid of you? I'll have to mention that at the next production meeting.

Darrin Chaos continues his assaults on Zeitgeist, seeming hell bent on punishing his tag team partner. He whips him across the cage, where Zeitgeist slams into the side of the platform side first...he rebounds and takes a step, only to have the ground disappear beneath him, as he plummets into the web of pain as well. Darrin looks through the hole, shrugs his shoulder, and then leaps through it, coming crashing down on Zeitgeist with a 450 splash that snaps the barb wire and sends all three men down another 10 feet into the second web of barbwire. The crowd is chanting "Holy Shit! Holy Shit!" as the fight continues inside the cage.

Monroe: What kind of hatred does Darrin Chaos have for Zeitgeist The Perpetual if he is willing to THROW himself into a web of barb wire, after hitting it once already?!?! He's insane! Darrin Chaos, Zeitgeist The Perpetual, and JYD are 20 feet below the cage, and none of them are moving.

Back in the cage, Travis and Manson have a double team going. Travis whips Drew one way, before pulling him back and lifting him for a flap jack, while Manson comes across with a neck breaker, completing the 3-D. Travis gets and delivers a hard kick right to Manson's ribs before he can get up, and then quickly begins to climb the ladder. Manson spits up some blood, but forces himself to his feet, and begins to climb the other side. Travis makes it to the top of the ladder, and reaches up for the belt.

Monroe: Travis is just inches away from his first CWF World Championship! Can he get it? Can he finally shake the monkey off his back and capture the one CWF title that has eluded him? Can he finally make all the risks he's taken in this match, and in the past, worth it?

But Mike Manson isn't willing to relinquish the title without a fight, as he reaches up and nails Travis with a shot to the gut. He slams Travis' head into the top of the ladder, then reaches for the title himself. His fingers brush the strap, but Travis nails him, then grabs him around the head. Travis leaps from the ladder, bringing Manson with him, and falling 20 feet to the steel ground, driving Manson down with a bulldog.

Monroe: Mike Manson has got to be dead!!! He was just DRIVEN FACE FIRST INTO SOLID STEEL!!!! From 20 feet up in the air!!! This match needs to be stopped!

Henley: We've past the point of no return Monroe. There is no stopping this match until someone wins.

Drew Carrig, Travis Smith, and Mike Manson are all down inside the cage, while JYD, Darrin Chaos, and Zeitgeist The Perpetual are still unmoving while tangled in barbwire. All of the sudden the panel beneath Carrig gives way, but he manages to grab a hold of Travis Smith. The trap door begins to reset as Carrig loses his grip and begins to slide down the panel towards the web below. Carrig's scream of pain echoes off the Canyon's walls as the panel closes on both of his ankles, pinning them between the panel and cage floor.

Monroe: Oh my God, that's sickening! The solid steel panel shut on both of Carrig's ankles! Look at the look of horror on the referee's face. He has no idea what to do...there's nothing that he can do! The system is totally random. The only way for Drew to get free is to wait until that panel opens again. These steel panels weigh several hundred pounds a piece. Imagine the amount of pressure needed to close one of them. If that panel doesn't open soon, Drew Carrig may very well lose the use of both feet!

Back on the web, JYD has managed to get to the catwalk, and begins a slow climb back towards the cage. While Darrin Chaos ignores the barbwire biting into his flesh, and kneels on the strands while pounding away at Zeitgeist's face. Zeitgeist's costume and mask are torn, revealing bloody wounds, but still Darrin pounds away. Travis Smith has managed to pull himself up using the ladder, and he sees Carrig pinned on the ground. He grins through the blood covering his face, and begins to stomp away at the point where Drew's legs are pinned. Drew screams in pain, but this only seems to make Travis stomp harder. Travis grabs the ladder, and uses that to smash at Carrig's legs repeatedly. JYD comes up the ladder, and grabs Travis from behind, hitting him with a double axe handle. The ladder clatters to the ground. JYD lifts Travis up to the platform, then signals to the crowd down below.

Monroe: Oh my God! Not on the steel! You're Fucked in coming!

JYD lifts Travis into the air, but Travis slips behind. He spins JYD around, then manages to muscle him up into the air, tapping into a deep reserve of strength rarely used...then leaps off the platform, driving JYD down face first into the ladder.

Monroe: Canadian Sunset off the platform onto the ladder!!!!

JYD bounces off the ladder and lands face down on the ground, but Travis quickly rolls him over and goes for the cover. 1...2...3!!!

Henley: YES!!!

Monroe: The Junkyard Dog has been eliminated! But he has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of! He gave us two BRILLIANT performances here tonight, proving beyond a shadow of a doubt, that he is one of the top wrestlers in the world today. OH NO!!!!

Before Travis can roll off the cover, the panel beneath them gives way and they fall through. They hit the first web and get snagged, but fall through the hole made earlier, right to the second web...but under the weight of four men, that web snaps as well, and all four end up falling into the last web, finally coming to a stop in a bloody heap. All of the sudden, the panel trapping Drew Carrig opens again, and he slides down, falling through both webs, and slamming into the third one hard. Several strands break, but the web holds. But Drew Carrig is dangling by his arms, as the barbwire bites into the soft flesh of his underarms.

Monroe: If there is one shred of regard for human life left in this company, someone will stop this match!!! Drew Carrig is dangling 10 feet above the ring by only his arms as the wire digs into his flesh...and surrounding him are four other human beings, all bloodied and damn near broken in half!!! This has got to be stopped!

Henley: I told you before, it's not going to be stopped.

Monroe: Mike Manson is all along in the cage, but he's still out of it from that bull dog off the ladder! If he can come to sometime soon, he'll have a clear path to the title!!! And someone needs to come get JYD out of the web and get him medical attention. He's been eliminated, but unfortunately for him, couldn't avoid the trip to the web.

As Carrig, Travis, Zeitgeist, Darrin, and JYD all try to untangle themselves from the web, Mike Manson shows the first sign of life in a while, as he slowly tries to put his hands underneath his body to push himself up. He makes it to his hands and knees, but collapses back down on his stomach, unable to stand.

Monroe: Mike Manson probably has a concussion from that fall off the ladder. He's so close to retaining the title, but still miles away!

Manson tries again, as both Darrin Chaos and Zeitgeist The Perpetual crawl from the barb wire web onto the catwalk. Manson slowly gets to his feet, staying slouched over, and stumbling forward as his head must be spinning. He stumbles right into the referee, who tries to hold him up. All of the sudden the panel beneath both men gives out. Mike makes a desperate leap forward, clinging to the referee as he swings freely from his harness. The panel resets and Manson drops safely to the ground.

Henley: I knew those zebra's were good for something.

Monroe: And there's that resourcefulness I was talking about earlier. Mike Manson avoids a trip to the barbwire by hanging on to the referee. And now he's looking to climb the ladder!!!

Slowly...very slowly, Mike Manson puts one foot after another, climbing rung after rung, clutching his head as if to keep it from spinning after every step, while Darrin Chaos has begun his own climb back up to the cage.

Monroe: It's a race now! Mike Manson has a head start, but Darrin Chaos is moving a little bit quicker! Can Manson make it up the ladder in time?!?!

Manson reaches the top of the ladder, just as Darrin makes it back to the cage. Wasting no time, Darrin runs and drop kicks the ladder, knocking it over. Manson makes another desperate leap, and manages to hang on to the bar holding the belt at the top of the cage while the ladder topples over.

Monroe: OH MY GOD!!! Mike Manson is just hanging from the top of the cage! All he has to do is unstrap the belt and he's won!

Manson releases one hand from the bar and reaches for the belt, but before his hand can work the snaps, Darrin picks up the ladder, and slams it into Manson's legs from below. Manson tries to hang on, but his grip slips, and he falls once again the 20 feet to the cage floor, landing with a sickening thud.

Henley: Haha! That's two! Let's see if we can go for three!

Darrin sets up the ladder, only to get hit from behind by Zeitgeist The Perpetual, who has finally made it back into the match. Zeitgeist hits Darrin with a Twist of Fate, before beginning to climb the ladder. Darrin forces himself to recover quickly, and starts up after his partner. Zeitgeist catches Darrin with a kick to the head, nearly knocking him off the ladder. But Darrin responds with a shot to the back, before climbing up further. Darrin carefully turns Zeitgeist around, then yanks him off the ladder, driving him into the floor of the cage with a Chaos Theory.

Monroe: CHAOS THEORY OFF THE LADDER!!!!

Darrin manages to roll over and drape his arm over Zeitgeist's chest...1...2...3!!!

Monroe: The streak ends at 10!!! Darrin Chaos ends Zeitgeist The Perpetual's undefeated streak at 10, and gets big time revenge for earlier tonight! JYD and Zeitgeist are gone, and we're down to four men, which one of these four will win the CWF Championship?!

The referee helps move Zeitgeist out of harms way so he can easily climb down when he recovers somewhat, as Darrin pushes himself to his feet. Fifteen feet below, both Drew Carrig and Travis Smith are climbing up separate legs back into the cage, while JYD has managed to climb down to the ground, collapsing amongst the fans as medical personnel rush to his aid. He's quickly taken to the infirmary on a stretcher, while receiving a standing ovation for his efforts. Drew is having difficulty climbing the ladder, unable to effectively use either of his legs for support, while gushing blood from his arms. Travis Smith is better off, but not by much, as he makes it back into the cage. Darrin sees him coming and moves to meet him. Darrin lays in a chop to Travis' chest, and Travis responds in kind, both men barely able to stand, and the crowd below roaring their approval for everyone. Down on the ground, Zeitgeist has just made it down the ladder, and stumbles away from the cage, collapsing to his hands and knees, before forcing himself back up to walk under his own power to the infirmary. But out of no where comes John Bistiza, who attacks Zeitgeist from behind, knocking him to the ground.

Monroe: What the hell is this all about?!?!

Henley: Who cares? This is great!

Bistiza backs off, and gets a small object from his manager Scott. He hurls it at Zeitgeist, revealing it to be another Shockwave Grenade. It detonates and Zeitgeist is knocked off his feet, out cold, and unmoving on the ground. The camera zooms in on Bistiza, as he laughs and talks to the unconscious Zeitgeist.

Bistiza: You eliminated me from that battle royal weeks ago...and now you leared first hand that John Bistiza never forgets!

Monroe: The battle royal? That was weeks ago! Let it go! Why would you hold a grudge like that? It was every man for themselves on that night! I...LOOK OUT!!!

While celebrating, Bistiza is blasted from behind by Flabulas, who still looks very pissed off. Flabulas slams Bistiza into the frame of the spider leg, then drives him into the hard ground with a Kadik Crush, then chases off Scott through the crowd as security follows. Back in the cage, Travis has Darrin locked in an abdominal stretch, blood pouring from both men. Drew Carrig just manages to pull himself into the cage, unable to stand on his injured ankles. Travis sees him, and releases Darrin. He grabs Carrig by the hair, and pulls him up to his feet, then slaps him hard across the face.

Monroe: Bad blood runs deep between these two men, and Travis is showing major disrespect to Carrig right now.

Henley: And why shouldn't he? There's not a damn thing Carrig can do about it.

Travis slaps Drew again, then looks to whip him into the ladder. But Carrig reverses it, sending Travis into the steel, knocking it over, then spinning him around, and rolling through, right into his submission finisher, The Carrig Clutch. Drew cranks on Travis' leg, looking like he's going to make Smith tap, but Travis is saved as Darrin boots Drew in the head. Darrin grabs Drew and takes him over with a gut wrench suplex, then sets the ladder up again. He steps on, but his ankle is grabbed by Mike Manson. Darrin kicks Manson in the head, then pulls him to his feet. He lifts him up onto the ladder, then climbs up with him, looking to throw him off yet again, but Travis climbs up with them and hits both men with shots to the head. Carrig manages to crawl to the other side of the ladder, as the other three men jockey for position, moving higher and higher on the ladder. Carrig begins to pull himself up, as Manson kicks Darrin and Travis in the head on the other side of the ladder, and scurries even closer to the title belt.

Monroe: All four men are on the ladder!! This is incredibly dangerous! Someone could fall at any moment!

Henley: Imagine if the panel under the ladder gave way.

Monroe: Don't even say that...that would be horrific.

On one side of the ladder, it's Mike Manson, Darrin Chaos, and Travis Smith, all fighting to knock the other off. While on the other side of the ladder, it's Drew Carrig, fighting through the pain in his ankles to climb rung after rung. Manson is at the top! He reaches for the title, but is stopped by Darrin, who's stopped by Travis. Travis slams Darrin's head into the ladder, then literally climbs over him to get behind Mike Manson. Travis hammers Manson in the back of the head. Drew Carrig reaches the top of the other side, and blasts Travis in the head with a right hand, sending him toppling backwards. Travis grabs on to Manson and pulls him down with him...while Manson hooks Darrin Chaos around the shoulders with his legs, pulling him off the ladder as well. All three men hurtle towards the ground...which opens beneath them!!! The three men fall through the hole in the cage floor, the hole in the first web, the hole in the second web. Darrin hits the first web, then Travis Smith, both men breaking through and hitting the canvas with a thud, while Mike Manson gets the barbwire strands wrapped around his neck, jerking his body violently, before he too falls through the third web into the ring.

Monroe: OH MY GOD!!! MIKE MANSON JUST GOT HUNG WITH THAT BARB WIRE!!! HE COULD HAVE BROKEN HIS NECK!!!! JESUS CHRIST SOMEONE GET TO THE RING NOW!!!!

Henley: Take a look at Carrig!

Carrig stands near the top of the ladder, holding on for dear life as his legs threaten to give out on him, just a couple of feet away from the CWF World Title! All he has to do is reach up and claim it! Drew is bent over the top of the ladder, gathering the energy for one last lunge, when his eyes go saucer wide as he looks down at the floor and sees a panel opening. Everything is going in slow motion for Drew as he watches the panel open...inch by inch...foot by foot, it swings open, like the devil's mouth looking to drag him into the depths of Hell...but everyone breathes a sigh of relief when they realize the panel besides the ladder, not under it. Drew looks up, lunges, and unstraps the belt. His legs give out, and he plummets 20 feet to the steel floor of the cage, clutching the belt to his chest. The thud he makes as he strikes the steel is drowned out completely by the roar of the crowd as the ref calls below for the bell to be rung.

Kirkson: Ladies and gentleman, the winner of the match and NEWWWWWWWW CWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION....DREW CARRIG!!!!!!

Monroe: NEW CHAMPION! NEW CHAMPION!! DREW CARRIG HAS DONE IT!!! HE HAS SURVIVED THE WEB OF PAIN TO END MIKE MANSON'S FOUR MONTH REIGN AS CHAMPION!!!!

Medical teams pour out from the tents and race to the ring to help the men that fell, and several EMTs begin climbing the ladders to the cage. All of the sudden, MANimal comes out and begins climbing the cage ladder as well.
