Hey, I was thinking of getting an X-Box and Halo 2. My sister loves that game and, knowing about the coop mode, I figured I would play it with her. I think I will tell her to get me that and an x-box for christmas and buy her the same thing, lol. Maybe all 3 of us can do the coop mode. From what she said, she got pretty good playing the first one. I believe her. I don't think I would play against people though. They take it to seriously and it's to immature and negative. I find that I'm better at alotting time to play and time for sleep and school, so I believe its ok for me to play games again. I just won't play any mmo's because they are aggravating and require so much time. Or any games where I am against other people, for reasons mentioned above. But if there is anything on the comp or x-box that isn't an mmo and we can play coop with, or just me vs. you thats fun, let me know and I'll look into it.
As far as music, System of a Down's cd "Toxicity" is pretty awsome. Its kind of hardcore rock but its really good. The first 5 songs I dont like actually because they are so hardcore, lots of screaming and such. However, the last 9 songs are awsome, IMO. They are kind of a mix of screaming and singing. Kind of like lincoln park but instead of the rapping its singing. And its all instruments, not synthesized like lincoln park. Try it out. Start at song number 6, Chop Suey, IMO. Im sure you have heard that one on the radio. Probably a few others, Aerials for example.
I was the same way when I was living with my parents while working at Urgent Money. For some reason I became super lazy and lethargic. I wasn't even going to school. When I moved out here and away from my parents, though, I slowly became more motivated and energetic. I think part of the reason was because when I was with my parents I felt like they were running my life. So becoming lethargic and lazy was my way of rebelling against their control of me subconsciously. Even though they weren't really controlling me or forcing me to do anything, just being under their roof made me feel like I had little decision on what I did. When I moved in with my cousin and started sharing half the rent and working full time and going to college and not being under the roof of my parents anymore, I think that subconscious rebellion went away and I did things less resentingly.
Kind of like birds I suppose. If the mother bird never pushes the baby bird out of the nest it will never learn to fly and the mother will have to feed it untill one of them dies. The baby bird would never jump out on its own and learn to fly.
It helps to have a job where I don't have to deal with customers though, and one that I enjoy. I seriously hardly ever work out and I have gotten pretty strong just from climbing ladders and lifting heavy boxes all day. I can bench press 120 now. Thats not great, but considering I only weigh 140-150, its alot. Im actually going to buy a scale today to measure my weight....Do some christmas shopping as well.
I told a girl at the Y I liked her. She is smoking hot too. She works out there. She said she would go out with me if she didn't have a boyfriend. Frankly, I don't know how to take that. I knew she had one when I told her, I was just curious to see how she felt. You should have gotten Kelly's phone number and kept in touch with her. That way when she did break up with her boyfriend you would be there. Or at least have gotten her email. Either way, if you like her that much, you should hang around untill she tells you to go away, otherwise when she is available and your not there you will kick yourself in the ass. I told the girl at the Y I was gonna leave and she told me I should stay. I think I will stay for the same reason. It's an easy job and I only work 1 day a week.
I don't have a car yet and I don't feel pressured at all to get one. I live right across the street from both the Y and Target and I can't afford to get a car and go to college atm. The bus takes me right there as well. Insurance is the highest in the country in NJ. I would be paying $200-300 a month just on insurance. And then, depending on the car, $100-200 a month on payments. Considering im paying rent and bills, $300-$500 is half or most of my money I have left over and I would probably use the rest for food. Leaving nothing for college. One of the managers is supposed to be leaving in January and everyone is telling me I'm going to get his job. Its a $4.00 raise if I do which is really nice, I'll be making $13.30. I'm getting about $800 gross, $600 net now and if I get the position I will be making about $1040 gross and around $750 net, and thats not counting all the overtime I would be getting. I would have to come in at 10:00 and the earliest I could leave would be 7:00. So thats 10 hours overtime after 2 weeks right there. Which would be an extra $200 from that. Point being, hopefully then I would be able to afford a car and attend school. Target offers scholarships for full time students as well so my plan would be to get a car, get the scholarship, and be able to go to school full time. All this assuming I get the position. If I don't, I will just have to attend school part time and spend several extra years in it. Which would suck, but thats better than working at Target for the rest of my life.
Funny Stories.....hmmmmm. A 21 year old guy I work with at target wants to bang a 31 year old mother of 3 kids who is married, who also works at target. I think thats kind of funny. My dad delivers pizza's for Papa Johns, that's kind of funny. My parents and sister think I don't eat healthy while I haven't been sick in a year and they are all on several different medications which they share and never feel good, thats kind of funny as well. I bought a book that says there is a conspiracy between the government, the FDA, and most food producing corporations to make us fat and addicted, so they get money. Haven't read it yet, but that's kind of funny. Wearing a beanie has become my signature attire. Thank God no one has figured to call me Beanie Boy yet. If they did, I guess that would be funny.....for them when they said it, for me after I broke their nose. A black guy asked me, the other day, if I could free style rap, thats kind of funny. At the Y, a bunch of 6-8 year old kids cornered the life guard at the pool with a water hose and sprayed her down, that is funny. There is a guy overnight at target who looks like Beeker from the muppet babies(that skinny thing with the fuzzed out red hair), thats funny. At the Y, girls are either old and fat or young and hot. The old and fat ones are the ones that hit on me, that's funny....to everyone but me. I can't think of anything else right now thats funny.
So, anyways, I'm going to go buy the x-box and Halo 2, if its in stock, today for my sister, but I will probably hook it up and play it. If it doesn't take long to connect it to the interenet and you have Halo 2, want to play? Leave a message if you can or can't and ill turn AIM on after I get it. Name any other games I should get that we can play together as well and I'll look into getting them.
