Date Posted: 02:38:57 12/05/04 Sun Well Halo 2 unfortunatly turns out to not be co-op story mode. Joey and I were all ready to play it, on xbox live it actually says switch to coop mode, so I choose it and it says that we have to be on the same console for co-op, very lame. You can however play versus or versus teams with anyone on the friends list. Playing against random people got extremely irritating. Little kids talking major smack is what it came down to. I only play halo now when we're in private games online. I think rainbow six 3 is coop online against npc, but I'd have to check into it. Most the shooters like that have coop multiplayer against npc, like counterstrike. As far as any other type of game though, there arn't any like action story coop online games i know of. Pretty much anything coop not against a player is going to be a shooter. Been playing WoW since release. I was not at all dissapointed like i was with swg. In fact i was looking at some old posts on this board and one u had about it was almost dead on. Leveling is much quicker than other mmo's and it's very balanced gameplay, the variety is great. It's also not a grind fest mmo it's all quest based with extemely rewarding quests. Most exp comes from them. There are tons of quests everywhere as well. But anyway, yeah as far as xbox live goes the gameplay variety for the type of games u describe are basically just gonna be fps. Also to play on live u have to pick up the xbox live starter pack that gets you the headset as well. They do have alot of those tom clancy games though, and their all pretty cheap so if they do have coop mission sets against npc that could be pretty fun. Everytime in an online game I am against players I get extremely frustrated and angry. I guess I'm becomming less competitive or something, or maybe rather I'm just done of dealing with peoples crap. I do however play on pvp server in wow, where I dont mind the pvp at all, cause horde and alliance cant communicate with eachother, and when you have massive raids going on back and forth, it really feels like your one of the foot soldiers from WC3 fighting it out.
