Tell him to look up something called face doctor. Its a medicated soap made by a doctor in China who specializes in facial dermatology. The treatment has 3 parts to it. 2 soaps and a moisterizing cream. I dont know how effective they are but I believe they are made specifically for the type of acne he has. I don't think they rejuvinate acne scars though so he may have to get something else for that. The 3 parts cost a total of between $30-$50 bucks depending on what site you order from. Its worth a try and you aren't obligated to pay a monthly fee.
