Nothing really new going on here, atm. Still doing karate and jui-jitsu. Still going to college for nutrition. Still working at target. Still no g/f, which means I have more money and more time to myself.

I've been teaching the lower ranks in karate. Alot of kids....they drive me nuts. You tell them how to do something, show them how to do it, physically move them through it like they are puppets, and then they can finally do it on their own....once. They do it that one time correctly, making you think they learned it, and then they can't do it again. Then this one kid talks and talks and talks.... I think he may be from another planet because he doesn't seem to breath, just keeps talking. Needless to say, he does lots of pushups.

Relationships take endurance to be successful. It doesn't matter who your with. Best friend, brother, cousin, girlfriend.... Spend enough time with someone and problems will arise eventually. Endurance is dealing through the hard times when they come to get to something better. Someone who has no endurance quits when the pain starts, or the trouble starts. Something I've learned from karate is that everything that is hard is worth doing because it makes you stronger in some way. You endure the pain in working out, you get stronger. You endure the monotony of studying, you learn more. You endure the downs of relationships, and you strengthen them.

Reminds me of something a guy at work is going through. He was with this one girl for over 2 years and got married. The marriage only lasted 1 month before they split up. Wasn't really his fault. She had slept around and was kinda crazy. Thats not the part your comment reminds me of though. He met this new girl and was telling me how she was everything he ever wanted. I then told me a little later how hes having a problem with the relationship because she is so different then what hes used to and hes thinking of breaking up with her. Im guessing you guys aren't anywhere close to breaking up at the moment. The connection between the two, in my brain at least, is how you both talked about how great the girl you're with is and at about the same time started talking about having problems. I think if he stays in the relationship with her for awhile longer though, he might be able to get used to the differences, or she might change to meet his needs....heh.

I posted my email address. I check this every few days or so because my jiu-jitsu academy sends mail on recent tournements, tips, and updates on the new building they are soon to open near me.

Talk to ya later. Hope things go well for you and Ashley.
