Date Posted: 17:44:06 12/26/03 Fri After going on SWG, using my holo and persuing master brawler, I'm at 4/2/1/2 and just dont feel like trying anymore. Even if i got jedi i would have an uber character with nothing to do, assuming of course they fixed jedi. Even with the goal, and new found hint towards getting jedi, i still was having absolutely no fun. When i play swg i feel like im working. Anyway I thought back to FFXI and i think i would much rather play it. The terrain is alot different in the areas, and its just an overall fun time. They also add quests all the time for the players to do, depending on season, etc. Currently many players are being slaughtered by a giant tree ent, which no one has yet to discover how to beat it, as it barely takes any dmg. The music in FFXI is pretty good too. Anyway it would be cool if you wanted to give it a shot, but if u just wanna stick with SWG till you try Wow its cool too. It's definatly worth a try at least IMO. I think you would like it. It is definatly a group oriented game so if you prefer soloing, it probably isnt for you. This was my initial problem in the game, as I didnt like seeking out groups, until i found that it's fun playing in them. Quests in the game are also cool, including cutscenes and boss fights. There is even an "overall" storyline to the game and a huge boss that can be taken on. They are also adding to that storyline. PvP between the 3 kingdoms will be added to the game soon too, probably much like the pvp in WOW will be. The visuals from spells are pretty awsome, and so summons. One bad thing however, is that on occation you will see people who look alot like you, or people wearing AF armor, which gives them the traditional look. But they are very high level items. The look thing really never bothered me though, not sure how you would feel about it however.
