WASTED APPLES

A Honest Look At Teenagers Life

What are friends? They are friends who when thing are rough they are there to give a helping hand. Friends are there to hang out with, drink, party and play video games with. Wasted Apples centers on a group of friend just hanging out and about to throw a big party.

The gang has just graduated from high school and is just hanging out before some of them are starting their life. This film centers on the big party day, but what was nice is that there is a lot of sub plots and some of the plots interlock with some of the other charters and most of the characters find what they are looking for. As Wasted Apples give a honest and realistic look at the pressures and what teenager have to face every day.

Independent films not budget by the big studios are the best films to watch because people who do what they like make them. And all the films give you a feel on what the director is thinking when he or she makes their film.

I met the director Tommy Avallone while checking out a film where he use to work at and he e-mail me about this film he has made and wanted me to review it for him. It was an honor to watch it and review his film and I can honest say that is was a good film. The characters of the film you can relate to in some form. How each character has his or her own problems and how they deal with it.

There was one guy who all he wanted to do it find the perfect lady. Which all of us guys who has not found her yet can relate to I know I can. There is a character that is gay but will not admit it. And there is also a character that found out about his girlfriend he though he would never see. And there is a lot of other different characters that makes up this great film.

One thing is for certain when this film is available to buy on video you will defiantly want to check it out and see for yourself. Do let the name of the film fool you these are apples you don’t want to waste

Shows What Life is All About

Well in wasted apples we were introduced to the gang and that film centers on what it like to be an everyday teenager. The second film called Small Kid Tank Top which centers on stuff you take for granite. This is the second film in the Station Trilogy which the third one call Here’s to Yesterday is out as well more on that film soon.

Well this film like the first one center on everyday teenagers. But this one centers on stuff most teenager don’t respect or take for granite. Until they don’t have it no more.

Well I thought this was a great film and it shows the directors had a fun time filming this film and it shows in the movie. When a director put a lot of time and has a fun time doing what he likes to do it shows in the film. The acting was good and they gang takes pride in there work and it shows.

Any teenager who has it made like the parents buying there car or first apartment check out this film because it will shows you that what you take for granite and when it is gone it the first thing you will want badly. Tommy has done a great job of showing us how it like to be a teenager the good, the bad and the funny moments that teenager go trough in life and then the third film will finish the story. This film is now on video check it out today as well as the other two films

Here's to Yesterday

A Great Ending To A Great Trilogy

Well every great trilogy has to come to an end this year we were witness to The Lords of the Rings trilogy. And now local filmmaker Tommy Avallone trilogy has come to an end and let me tell you it goes out with a bang. Hats off to you Tommy you did a great job.

Here’s to Yesterday is the final installment of the Station Trilogy and it end the telling of the lives of the average teenager. This film the gang is all grown up and each doing their own thing but they discovers what they have to do to keep them all together and friends forever.

This new story has a lot of mini stories within the main story of friendship and growing up just like the last two films. One is Tommy trying to find his Miss Right and every time he goes up to a girl he likes to meet he friend with his special gift takes all the women and it makes Tommy so mad, another story is a battle between Charms vs. Charm.

Well this was the best film in the Trilogy and it shows what happens when everyone fears growing up and leaving their long time friends. When watching these films it makes you think of your childhood and what you did when you were a child. In this new installment you can tell the Director really took his time to finish the story and it shows in the film. The way the director sees himself in the story how it is hard to grow up and leave your friends.

Here to yesterday is the best in the trilogy and it answer a lot of the questions that the other two film ask. And it shows the different stages of growth for first time filmmaker Tommy Avallone how with each film he is crafting his style and way of directing. The editing and the sound were top notch and much better from the last two films. The acting was outstanding and a lot of depth to the characters in the film and how each interact with each other.

Being a film critic I have seen a lot of different ways a director tells the story and with each films how the director grows as a director. With these three films I had the honor and privilege to review his films.

To sum it up I would have to say hats off to you Tommy you did an excellent job of showing us the meaning of being a teenager and what it likes to grow up in 21 century. I think everyone who likes films should check out these three films from a great upcoming soon to be the next Steven Spielberg. Tommy keeps up the great work.

ok that is the reviews and that is that.

Thanks Paul Perkins
