I have a son not living with me who was abused by the Mom's boyfriend.
I a feel that it's the ABUSE that screws these kids up and that medication is 99 percent of the time NOT the solution and 99 percent of the time abused.

I fought to get him off the Ritalin by threatening lawsuit if any future malpactice was ever found and succeeded once and then was unable too.(He was not living w/me)
The 1st time in 1994 or so his doctor dropped him like a hot potato upon the 1st threat.
Then he became a ward of the court(long story)and the government put him on ritalin.
He had a lot of energy.
Now he's just turned 15 and fucking permanently damaged.(Not much energy and other things)
I tend to feel that medication is avoidable and unneccessary in 99 percent of cases (Well maybe 100 percent,I know some peoople would disagree)I also support CCHR Citizens Commmison for human rights which is also linked to Lisa Maries site.
Phsychs seem to feel they have a monopoly aboutthe knowledge of the mind and I feel that they are still in the stone age.
There have also been criminal acts done; most currently the prozac being randomly sent by mail to medical patients in Florida as shown on 60 minutes about 3 weeks ago.
Also as you may be aware of... there are other options for your mental health but unfortunaely they get the "cult" label on them since they are not ruled by the almighty medical gods!!
Think for yourself.
