BIRD KNOCKED OFF HIS PERCH, ONE FOOT IN DIVISION 1

CONGRATULATION'S to Julian Foot. An emphatic victory sends Julian up in the Division 1 play off final scoring 31 (I think)points and picking up 3 goals in the process.

However, Julian's victory in the Division 2 final was tinged with sadness as his beloved West Ham were relegated to Division 1.

Dave in his bid to gain immediate promotion back to Division 1 failed to do so after spending most of the season in one of the top two spots only to fall away (like Spurs) at the end of the season. Only time will tell whether the pressures of PPL life get to him next season.

Good luck to our new romantic in the pressure cooker of Division 1 next year and to our 'Disco Dancing' King David 'Travolta' Bird in his bid to add another SBA team in the top flight.
