The problem is that you have got the wrong manger. Solkiaer is a Norwegian manager that leads the team according to a philosopthy common among modern Norwegian leaders, from the boss at the floor to the top political leadership of the country. This leadership pattern makes the employees exhausted, injured and sick due to hard physical and psychological pressure. It is authoritarian, and with an unflexible strategy. Furthermore it fobinds the empliyees to be inventive. It controls every movement of the employees and even their private life. It vastes economical and material rsources too. It uses a mutual culture of smiling as a sort of logom for psychological manipulation, and to hide its real autoritarian kernel.

The pressure from this leadership pattern combined with a mutual smiling culture as psychological tool often gives good results at the beginning, but then the company begins to crumple, eventually it falls into bankrupsy, and the employees get curbed physically and mentally. I am Norwgian, and I see that my country and the Norwegian people is gradually crumpling and heading towards a state of bancrupsy and cronical sickness by this kind of leadreship.

This is the kind of leadership philosophy this man brings with him to England and Manchester United. As one seas, it gave results a short time, but then the results rapidly get negative and evrything is crumbling, and a state of bankrupsy will likely be the next. The owners of Manhester United should fire this man as soon as possible and let his assistants take over until another manager with a more intelligent strategy is at place.
